To Capture Silence (Feb/March 2015)
Impressions of the landscape, a fascination with lines and a reflective disposition are all significant qualities in this striking joint exhibition featuring basketry by Joe Hogan and textiles by Liz Nilsson. Hogan will exhibit mostly non-functional or sculptural baskets which are inspired by the natural world. Nilsson is contributing a series of abstract printed textile tableaux in grey tones, where layer upon layer of drawn lines have been printed. This group show in various media comprised ceramics by Maria Connolly, Joanna Doyle, Etain Hickey and Nanette Ledwith, automata by Muriel Hoey, glass by Catherine Keenan, textiles by Lesley Stothers and wood by Glenn Lucas
SUMMER (May-June 2015)
To mark the first hints of summer this group exhibition featured ceramics, jewellery, glass by 6 makers. The participating ceramic artists were Sinead Lough, Evelina Wojtowicz, Peter Montgomery, Chloë Dowds and Magda Bethani. Glass artist Eva Kelly showed sandblasted and etched glass platters as well as decorative panels. Fiona Mulholland exhibited her Plexiglas and silver jewellery while Shelagh Dwyer showed a series of linocuts of birds and seaside scenes.
STRATA (August-Sept 2015)
This show will feature the ceramic work of Freda Rupp alongside a range of textiles by members of ELEMENT 15.
BRAVURA 2015 (October-November 2015)
As part of the Wexford Opera Festival Fringe Programme this exhibition featured feature ceramics by Helena Brennan, Chris Keenan, Nanette Ledwith, Marcus O’Mahony and Andrew Whitelaw. Alongside the ceramics was a small range of tableware by Michael McCrory the renowned silversmith from Co. Down and work by Jane Murtagh, the art metalsmith.
